As per the authority conferred upon me by the Fee Regulatory Committee (Technical) wide its resolution dt.30 June, 2017, I am issuing the following circular. CIRCULAR The process of determination of fee structures of the Gujarat Professional Technical Education Colleges or Institutions for the period of 2017-18 to 2019-20 is in progress, however, with a view to facilitate the process of admission of students to such colleges or institutions, the Fee Regulatory Committee, by way of interim measure, issues following directions. 1.
The colleges/institutions listed in Appendix-i have either proposed the existing fee or reduction in the existing fee of the year 2016-17 for the next block period of 3 years i.e. 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 and therefore, they are permitted to charge, as provisional fee, the fee proposed by them.
2.
The colleges/institutions listed in Appendix-2 have proposed increase up to 10% in their existing fee of 2016-17 for the next block period of 3 years i.e. 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 and therefore, they are permitted to charge, as provisional fee, the fee proposed by them.
3.
The colleges/institutions listed in Appendix-3 have proposed increase more than 10% of their existing fee of 2016-17 for the next block period of 3 years i.e. 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20. They are permitted to charge as provisional fee indicated in this Appendix which is based on 10% increase in their existing fee.
The above fee is purely provisional and on the basis of it the colleges or institutions will charge fee from the students admitted in Academic Year 2017-18 for the First Semester. It will be subject to final determination of the fee structures of such colleges and institutions and they will be then required to charge and the students will be required to pay fee strictly in accordance with the final fee structures that may be determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee. On determination of final fee structure for academic year 2017-18 onwards by the Committee, all the self finance colleges/institutions may collect or shall refund, as the case may be, the difference of fee, if any, approved for the year 2017-18.
