4 Day Theraplay® Training

Nexus Primary Health in partnership with The Theraplay® Institute are bringing Level 1 & MIM Theraplay® Training to you. Theraplay® focuses on the parent/carer-child relationship which is the most powerful and influential element to create change. Other therapies may work primarily with the child alone or simply work with parents/carers on managing the child’s behaviours. Level 1 & MIM Theraplay® Training will cover:

Facilitated by: Annie Kiermaier, LCSW, RN Annie is a clinical social worker in private practice, and a Certified Theraplay® Therapist and Trainer. Annie has a lifelong passion for helping parents and their children have healthy, joyful attachment relationships. She holds an MSW from the University of Maine at Orono. Annie authored Chapter 7 of the 3rd edition of the Theraplay® book, "Theraplay for Children with Regulation Disorders.”

Best practice examples of how to implement Theraplay® within your current work Information and resources including how to access peer support Real life examples from international leaders in the Theraplay® technique.

Kate is a Certified Theraplay® Therapist, Trainer and Supervisor and Co-ordinates Theraplay at Nexus Primary Health. Kate is passionate about attachment and strongly believes it is the foundation for social emotional and cognitive development.
