1. (5 points) The pedigree below shows the incidence of sickle cell disease in a family. Use “A” to represent the dominant allele for normal blood and “a” to represent the recessive allele for sickle cells and fill in the genotypes for as many of the people in this family as you can.

2. (5 points) The pedigree below represents the incidence of hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer. Use “H” to represent the dominant allele and “h” to represent the recessive cancer-causing allele and determine the genotypes for as many people as you can in this family.

3. (5 points) The pedigree below shows the incidence of cystic fibrosis in a family. Use “F” to represent the dominant allele for healthy chlorine ion channel proteins and “f” to represent the recessive allele for defective chlorine ion channels and fill in the genotypes for as many of the people in this family as you can.
