Manuscripts for BACTERIOLOGIcAL REVIEWS should be sent to Prof. Barnett Cohen, Johns Hopkins Medical School, 710 N. Washington Street, Baltimore, Md. Twenty-five reprints, without covers, of articles will be furnished gratis to contributors when ordered in advance. A table showing cost of additional reprints, with an order slip, is sent with proof. Correspondence concerning business matters should be addressed to The Williams & Wilkins Company, Mount Royal and Guilford Avenues, Baltimore, U. S. A. TE JOURNAL OF BACTERIOLOGY is issued monthly. (From 1916-1926 Volumes I-XII, inclusive published bimonthly.) Two volumes a year January-June and July-December, are published. The Subscription price for both volumes will be $10.00. Price of single volume (January-June or July-December) $5.00 per volume. For countries outside the Postal Union, add 50 cents a volume. The subscriptions of members of the Society of American Bacteriologists are included in the membership dues and are handled by the Association's Treasurer, Dr. W. B. Sarles, University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin. All other subscriptions should be sent to the publishers. Claims for copies lost in the mails must be received within 30 days (domestic). For the duration of the war, delivery overseas cannot be guaranteed and must be at subscriber's risk. Changes of address must be received within two weeks of the date of issue. New subscriptions and renewals are entered to begin with the first issue of the current volume. Should any issue of the current volume be out of print at the time the subscription order is received, the prorata value of such numbers will be credited to the next volume, and the renewal invoice therefor adjusted accordingly. Subscriptions should be renewed promptly-To avoid a break in your series, subscriptions should be renewed promptly. The publishers cannot guarantee to supply back issues on related renewals.
