NUS MONTHLY CONTEST All laced up and ready for the Step Challenge? Each month, starting from November 2016 to February 2017, University Health Centre (UHC) will be giving away exciting prizes to the top ten (10) staff who have accumulated the most steps in the NUS Steps Challenge. Add more to your individual rewards and walk towards a corporate cause and win additional prizes too! Monthly winners can win up to SGD$20 shopping vouchers! So, get ready and start walking to a healthier you!

Terms and Conditions Monthly contests are open only to NUS staff participating in NUS Steps Challenge 2016. It is not open to public, family members or students. Winning staff will be notified by the University Health Centre (UHC) on the first week of the preceding month. Only winning staff will be notified. All notifications will be emailed to winners. Names of winning staff (last names and first name’s initials) would be announced and mentioned on UHC’s website and social media platforms. Winners would only be selected once. No duplicate wins would be selected. Contest closes 28 February 2017. Prizes must be claimed by winning staff in person (with proof of staff card) and within 10 working days of notification. Unclaimed prizes will be awarded to the next winner (eg: 11th highest score etc). Prizes are pre-assigned. No exchanges can be made.

Register Your Interest Register your interest through the NUS Calendar of Events.

Step Forward with Your Registration An email will be sent to you closer to the date indicating campus roadshow dates. Drop by during the campus roadshow dates with your staff or student card to register and collect your tracker.

Existing Steps Challenge Participants, Step Forward Now! If you are an existing National Steps Challenge participant and would like to participate in NUS’ corporate (staff) or Steps for Good (student) challenge, Please register with NUS unique entry code. Entry codes will be made available to staff and students at NUS’ roadshows and UHC’s website http://www.nus.edu.sg/uhc/ from 17 October.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to sign up for National Steps Challenge™ Corporate Challenge Download the Healthy 365 app.

Go through a simple introduction and agree to the PAR-Q and Terms and Conditions of the Healthy 365 app.

Create your profile on the Healthy 365 app (or delete, reinstall the

latest version of the app if you have already downloaded it before, then restore your profile)

.

Step 3

Corporate Challenge period: 14 November 2016 to 28 February 2017.

If you are restoring your profile on the Healthy 365 app, a 4 digit one-time-pin will be sent to you via your registered mobile number. Key in the OTP and your profile will be restored successfully.

Step 4

Key in your organisation’s unique 6-digit entry code. Entry codes are case sensitive.

Select ‘Corporate Challenge Sign Up’ on the Challenges tab on the Healthy 365 app.

Step 5

Agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Corporate Challenge.

Choose your preferred mode of tracking your steps:  HPB steps tracker*  S Health  HealthKit  Other compatible trackers (e.g. Fitbit)

Sync your HPB steps tracker, S Health or HealthKit app or other compatible trackers with the Healthy 365 app at least once every 7 days to update your step count and track calories when you take steps every day. Visit stepschallenge.sg/corporate-challenge for a full list of compatible steps trackers and how to record and sync your steps if you are a non-smartphone user.

*Only new participants of the Corporate Challenge are eligible to receive a free HPB steps tracker, available on a first-come-first-served, while stocks last basis. Participants of the National Steps Challenge™ who have previously collected their HPB steps tracker are no longer eligible for another free steps tracker. The Corporate Challenge period is from 14 November 2016 to 28 February 2017. Participants must be an employee of the organisation and at least 18 years old at the point of signing up. All Corporate Challenge participants will also be automatically signed up for the National Steps Challenge™ Season 2. Other terms and conditions apply.
