1/28/2018-St. Peter Prince of the Apostles School ST. PETER SCHOOL WEEKDAY CHILDREN’S PROGRAM The St. Peter's Weekday Children's Program offers full time, as well as part-time care, for young children ages 18 months-3 years old. We also have a transition pre-kindergarten class for those students who are of age to begin school, but are not socially/emotionally ready. Enrollment is open to parishioners of St. Peter, as well as members of the surrounding community. Please contact Cathy Zinsmeyer - WCP Director at 210-241-3123. STEWARDSHIP OF TREASURE Contributions for the week ending January 14, 2018 Amount will be posted next week. Thank you for your gift.

On behalf of Archbishop Gustavo and Father, we invite you and your family to serve our brothers and sisters in need through the 2018 Archbishop's Appeal. Your prayers and gift to this year’s Appeal are essential to continue serving homeless children and mothers, bringing spiritual support to the hospitalized, forming future priest and deacons to provide the Sacraments of our faith in our communities and so much more! If you have already responded to the Archbishop’s letter sent to your home, thank you! If you have not had an opportunity, we invite you to pray and consider how you and your family can renew your gift or make your first gift to this year’s Appeal. Pledge envelopes and pencils are available in the pews (and or in the vestibule) of the Church. Once completed, place your Appeal pledge envelope in the offertory during Mass. Online gifts can be made at www.archsa.org/archbishops-appeal or by calling the Office of Archbishop’s Appeal at 210-734-1604. Thank you for your prayers and generosity. May God bless you!

2018 St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Confirmation Class Service Project—Love Boxes (Goal: Collect offerings & fill shoeboxes with supplies and goodies for the homeless) We have seen great generosity this Christmas season. Our Confirmation Class is working on other areas of need by collecting and filling shoeboxes with love offerings for the homeless. In the collection and preparation of the Love Boxes, we are putting the Corporal Works of Mercy into action and practicing our Catholic Faith. We are the Body of Christ, the hands and feet of Jesus, here on earth. We are working toward the distribution of the boxes the week of St. Valentine’s Day. How can you help us? We are collecting shoeboxes and useful items for men and women, for example...  Supplies: Pens, pencils, sharpies, notepads, sports water bottles  Toiletries: toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, deodorant, soap bars, lotions, shampoo, brushes, combs, washcloths  Clothing: Short and long sleeve T-shirts, socks, scarfs, gloves, mittens, baseball caps, sunglasses  First Aid and Cotton Products: Band-Aids, antiseptic wipes, cotton balls, Q-tips, small packs of Kleenex tissues  Individually Wrapped Snacks (no cans please); granola bars, raisins, peanut butter, crackers, pretzels, water, juice boxes, fruit cups, fruit snacks, pop top food cans, sandwich baggies, plastic ware “to-go” packs, or any snack item that does not require a can opener. Give of yourself first. Do you have too many pens, pencils? Unused items such as, free samples, promotional products, small toiletries, soaps, gently used or promotional T-shirts etc. that you have stored away? Look through your house for things you aren’t using but have been collecting over the past year. Any way you can help us will be appreciated. Give what you can and receive the pleasure and knowledge that your contribution will touch the life of a fellow human being. Look for the “Love Box” collection baskets the weekends of January 14/15, 20/21 and 28/29. Thank you for your generosity.
