Terminology In this booklet, “Society” shall mean Food and Nutritional Science Society, SS, HKUSU; “Union” shall mean The Hong Kong University Students’ Union; “School” shall mean School of Biological Sciences of the University of Hong Kong; “Members” shall mean all Full Members, Associate Members, or Honorary Members of Food and Nutritional Science Society, SS, HKUSU; “General Meetings” shall include any Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting; “Executive Committee” shall mean Executive Committee of the Society.
Introduction of the Cabinet Name of the cabinet The name of the cabinet is Hestia.
Meaning of the cabinet name “Hestia” was the virgin-goddess of the hearth and the home in Ancient Greek religion. She provided light, warmth, and the means of cooking food. Our aims match Hestia’s attitudes, being neighborly and open to suggestions. We will bring Members joyfulness and unity condensing in one big family in the coming eventful year. The warmth and brightness will be the Members’ guide. In a series of healthy and delightful events, we hope to immerse Members into a simply-happy community which gives them support and power in facing different challenges.

6. Mentorship Program Through sharing by graduates of Food and Nutritional Science, mentees will have a glimpse at the prospect after studying this program.
