Core Release 16.5.2

| Confidential and proprietary.

Enhancement to improve our tracking of user productivity in Edit / Error We’ve enhanced the behind-the-scenes logic in Edit / Error Management to allow more accurate tracking of user productivity. One particular benefit of this change is that we can now effectively measure the time that passes between the assigning of a claim and the correcting of the claim. From a technical standpoint, this enhancement also optimizes our system to allow for future improvements to screen loading times in Edit / Error Management. In order to build this enhancement, we had to adjust the functionality of our Auto-Assign feature in a way that may impact current users of the auto-assignment tool. Because of this change, if you create or modify an auto-assignment rule, the resulting assignments will now only be applied to future (but not current) claims in Edit / Error Management. To assign or reassign claims that are currently in Edit / Error Management, follow these steps: 1. Select the claim(s) and click Assign Claims. Note: If you want to reassign claims that are already assigned to a user, select their user name from the Assigned search field and press ENTER to search. Then, select any claims you want to reassign and click Assign Claims.

2. In the Select User field, select the user to whom you want the claim(s) assigned.

3. Click Continue to assign the claims to that user.

New auto payer mapping feature available by request Our automatic payer mapping feature can now be used to reduce or eliminate the need for manual payer mapping. With auto payer mapping, you can submit claims with an Availity payer ID (EDI code) and we’ll automatically create a mapping for that payer, no manual payer mapping necessary. This tool can save you valuable time and stress by expediting the process of submitting claims to an unmapped payer, allowing you to more easily meet your timely filing deadlines. Auto payer mapping is free of charge, but must be enabled by our support teams; if you’re interested in auto payer mapping or you want it enabled for your office, contact your Client Account Manager or Revenue Cycle Specialist.
