What's New

FortiGate Management

What's New FortiCloud 3.2.0 introduces the following new features:

FortiGate Management Now out of beta, FortiGate Management is now available in FortiCloud, allowing for synching of connected FortiGate devices, uploading and downloading config files, and making in-FortiCloud changes that can then be reflected in the devices. In 3.2.0, this service is available to all FortiCloud accounts as a trial, but the next version (3.2.1) will move this service to paid Subscription accounts only.

Expanded FortiView Visibility The former FortiCloud Dashboard has now been wrapped into FortiCloud's FortiView page, which now includes every category of logs and monitoring data that the FortiGate's FortiView pages include.

FortiGate Event Management You can now set up detection of specific FortiCloud-device integration events and errors, with alert emails. Currently included events: l

Device Tunnel To Server Down

l

Device Power Supply Failure

l

l

IPSec Phase2 Down

l

More events, and the possibility of custom events, are planned for the future.

On-Demand Sandbox Submission

What's New

On-Demand Sandbox Submission The On-Demand page has been added to the Sandbox section. It allows you to manually upload files to be analyzed by FortiGuard services, useful if you have suspicious files that need immediate analysis. Currently, only files up to 10Mb are supported.

REST API 3.2.0 has introduced a preliminary REST API for querying AP Network information. The API is currently only available on a limited basis. Contact Fortinet Support if you require access.

AP Network Alert Emails Alert Emails for AP Network events/errors have been added in 3.2.0. Currently, there is only one alert available: AP Offline. More alerts will be added in future versions.

FortiPresence Sensor Mode An AP Network configured for FortiPresence can now enable Sensor Mode for all APs. Refer to FortiPresence documentation for more information about FortiPresence features.

FortiAP QoS Profiles AP Networks can now be configured to use QoS profiles, allowing you to remotely manage traffic volume/quality across your AP Network.
