GFRC Advantages – Commercial Construction Light Weight with panel systems less than 20 pounds per square foot of
wall. 1/5 the weight of precast, ½ the weight of granite. The GFRC and GFRC panel framing space can be utilized to contain the primary building insulation and vapor barrier. This allows the insulation and vapor barrier to be continuous and not broken by the floor slab or g building columns. Interior finishes can be attached directly to the GFRC framing utilizing 1 5/8” furring creating more interior room usage space. GFRC can provide the same look and feel of architectural precast, limestone sandstone granite terracotta and travertine limestone, sandstone, granite, terracotta, and travertine. Prefabricated panels complete with insulation and vapor barrier will speed construction and provide quicker building envelope dry in, resulting in faster completion of interior work. Cost effective. GFRC can provide these advantages with a cost competitive price as compared to architectural precast and generally less expensive than limestone, sandstone, granite, terracotta and travertine.
