All Pioneer Students have a Google Drive/Chrome account set up by D20. Pioneer teachers will use Google Drive resources with students. One of the best features of Google Drive is that students can login at school and at home to access their documents and other resources. To login to Google Drive on a computer at home: 1. Use Google Chrome (other browsers will work but not as smoothly). 2. Click the Sign in button at the top. It looks like a tiny head and shoulders. 3. Click Sign in to Chrome.
4. Enter the student email address (it’s an address that cannot send or receive emails). The student’s email address is
[email protected] A student’s D20 username is a 6-digit number. 5. Click Next. 6. Enter the student password. This password is the student’s “supersecret” D20 password used to login to computers at school.
7. After logging into Google Chrome, click the icon that looks like colorful small squares (we call it the “rainbow waffle”) in the bookmarks bar to access Google tools and apps including Google Drive, Google Classroom, Google Slides, and Google Docs. If the “rainbow waffle” is not visible, change the Google Chrome Settings to show the bookmarks bar.
To login with a tablet at home, download the Google Drive/Slides/Docs/Classroom apps and use the username/password information above to log in.
