Greenway Health's EHR for community health centers one of first to be certified under ONC’s latest regulatory health IT criteria SuccessEHS version 9.0 enables providers to take advantage of value-based incentive programs while enjoying additional new enhancements that help improve practice workflow and patient care. TAMPA, Florida — June 28, 2017 — Greenway Health, a leading health information technology and services provider, today announced its SuccessEHS™ electronic health record software has achieved 2015 ONC Health IT certification, enabling community health providers to receive payments for improving healthcare under Medicaid Meaningful Use Stage 3 and Quality Payment Program requirements. The certified edition, SuccessEHS v9.0, is now generally available to customers. SuccessEHS v9.0 was certified via Drummond Group LLC, an Authorized Certification Body that has been empowered to test software for compliance with the requirements of the federal government’s ongoing EHR adoption program. The solution, one of only a few 2015 certified EHRs in the marketplace, is designed to help community health centers, federally qualified health centers, and rural health clinics maintain focus on their missions to provide quality, affordable care in underserved communities. The solution does this in part through streamlined Ryan White and Uniform Data Set (UDS) measurement and reporting. In addition to meeting certification requirements set by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, SuccessEHS v9.0 delivers extra customer-led upgrades and features that make it easier to use, which is helpful when earning payments and reimbursements under Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). “Our customers told us they want to take advantage of merit-based incentives, but they also gave us ideas about how to make SuccessEHS even better for their organizations,” said Scott Zimmerman, CEO of Greenway Health. “We went above and beyond meeting ONC certification and committed to delivering an improved, easier-to-use solution that helps providers do the important job of caring for medically underserved patient populations.” SuccessEHS customers can fully participate in Medicaid Meaningful Use Stage 3, the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), and Advanced Alternative Payment Models. For MIPS, customers can manage Advancing Care Information, formerly called Meaningful Use, and Quality, formerly called Physician Quality Reporting System. Eligible practices that rely on paper-based records or that use noncertified EHRs face up to 9% in penalties to their Medicare reimbursement in coming years. Greenway made significant product innovations around SuccessEHS’s user experience — including reducing the number of clicks wherever possible. After soliciting customer feedback, the company focused on the revamping of care plans and the sharing of patient-centric summaries of care. It added customization options so organizations can more easily view upcoming appointments, work with referrals, and optimize workflows. It also enhanced quality reporting by updating the regulatory dashboard to clearly delineate between Medicaid Meaningful Use Stage 2 and Stage 3.

Greenway’s two other EHRs, Intergy and Prime Suite, are on track for ONC certification in the coming months. Mark Janiszewski, EVP, Product Management at Greenway Health, said: “As with SuccessEHS v9.0, we are fully confident that our two remaining EHR platforms address all ONC regulatory criteria. And we will go even further in making those products easier to use and better aligned to the greater mission of improving patient care.” ###
