How to Turn a Picture file into a PDF Requirements 1. Picture file type like: jpeg, gif, bmp, PHG, and tif 2. Computer with

Steps (Please see instructions in the 6th Floor Computer Lab on how to scan an image for upload to Blackboard)

1. Open your image file.

2. On the bottom toolbar, click the “print” icon.

3. This will open the “Photo Printing Wizard”. On the first screen, click “Next”.

4. On the second page, there will be a drop down to choose your printer. Select “Adobe PDF” and click “Next”.

5. On the “Layout Selection” page, select to have it print in the form that makes it look best for your picture. (The selection may vary for image.)

6. Click “Next” 7. Automatically, it will pop up a “Save File” box where you can choose where the PDF file should be saved and what name it should have. Select its location and name and then click “Save”

8. Your new PDF will open , please check it to be sure it looks correct and then close the PDF.

9. You can now select this file upload to Blackboard instead of the image file that was originally made by a scan.
