INSTALLATION INFORMATION CAUTION •• To prevent burns, allow the engine, exhaust system, radiator, etc. to cool before installing the accessory. NOTE: •• The Pannier stay which is sold separately is required to install this accessory. •• The Pannier stay is not required for the motorcycle equipped with the Pannier stay. •• Take care not to damage the painted surfaces of the motorcycle. •• When the motorcycle is already equipped with the Rear carrier, remove the Rear carrier and Pannier stay before installing this accessory.

4. Work upon the rear fender B as shown. •• Be careful not to damage harnesses. •• Remove any burrs from the edge of the hole. •• Repeat on the left side.

13. Install the right pannier and tighten all loosely installed hardware to the specifications in the torque chart. •• Repeat on the left side.

1. Open the seat, remove the rear seat as shown. REAR SEAT BOLT

When securing the pannier support stay, first tighten the upper bolts.

15. Install the right pannier and tighten all loosely installed hardware to the specifications in the torque chart. •• Repeat on the left side.

17. Work upon the rear fender B as shown . •• Remove any burrs.

FRETSAW Remove.

SOCKET BOLT TORQUE: 30 N·m (3.1 kgf·m, 22 lbf·ft)

FILE File off the cutout surfaces after removing the area. Repeat on the right side.

FRETSAW Remove.

16. Temporarily remove the panniers and pannier stays. 5.5 mm

18. Install the rear fender B and A in the reverse order of removal.

19. Work upon the right side cover along the factory marked line as shown. •• Remove any burrs. •• Repeat on the left side.

RIGHT SIDE COVER

21. Loosely install the right pannier stay and right pannier, then tighten all loosely installed hardware to the specifications in the torque chart. •• Repeat on the left side. SOCKET BOLT (Reuse) TORQUE: 30 N·m (3.1 kgf·m, 22 lbf·ft)

FRETSAW Remove.

22. Install the plugs as shown. PLUG

FILE File off the cutout surfaces after removing the area.

20. Install the side covers and rear cowl in the reverse order of removal.

23. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
