KASICH ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS TO STATE COMMISSIONS, BOARDS AND COUNCIL COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the following appointments: Lori Barreras of Columbus (Franklin Co.) has been appointed to the Ohio Civil Rights Commission for a term beginning October 31, 2013, and ending July 28, 2018. John A. Brown of Mansfield (Richland Co.) has been appointed to the Banking Commission for a term beginning October 31, 2013, and ending January 31, 2016. C. Ellen Connally of Cleveland (Cuyahoga Co.) has been appointed to the Ohio Historical Society Board of Trustees for a term beginning October 31, 2013, and ending June 26, 2016. Larry T. Garvin of Bexley (Franklin Co.) has been reappointed to the State Council of Uniform State Laws for a term beginning October 31, 2013, and ending June 5, 2016. Dr. Thomas J. Graham of Novelty (Geauga Co.) has been appointed to the Third Frontier Advisory Board for a term beginning October 31, 2013, and ending March 14, 2015. ###
