By popular request, a list of the 2017 winners is available at the back of church; please take a copy if you would like one. Mass of Healing in Candlelight: Friday 16th February at 7pm followed by Exposition of the Blesséd Sacrament + Private Healing Prayer. After Mass the Shrine Healing Ministry will be available for Private Healing Prayer, for yourself or for someone close to you. Concluding with Benediction of the Blesséd Sacrament. All welcome. Lenten Lunches in St Mary’s Hall, every Saturday in Lent, 12 noon to 2pm, starting on Saturday 17th February; Delicious home-made soup, breads, tea, coffee; minimum donation £3. All proceeds this Lent will go to aid the work of the ‘Jesuit Refugee Service’ in Damascus and Aleppo, who are still ravaged by war. Please do stop by the hall to support the lunches on Saturdays during Lent Calling all cooks; Volunteers to make soup: We are still looking for volunteers to help with making the soup. Womens’ World Day of Prayer, Friday 2nd March at 10.00am for 10.30am: ‘All God’s Creation is Very Good, Praying for Suriname’ the theme for this year the Womens’ World Day of Prayer which is being celebrated in Glastonbury here at St Mary’s. Starting with coffee and tea in the church, at 10.00am and followed by the Ecumenical Service at 10.30am. The leader this year will be parishioner Sara Ogwapit Abbiss and the speaker will be David Baldwin. All are welcome; not exclusive to women! A Day with Four Medieval Saints: On Saturday 10th February, Sr Elizabeth will lead a day at Dillington House, Ilminster, on Saints Benedict, Hildegard of Bingen, Francis of Assisi and Julian of Norwich.
