NABL Proficiency Testing Programs ¾ 105 PT programs in Testing ¾ 94 completed

NABL--NPL Proficiency Testing Programs NABL ¾ 48 PT Programs are initially proposed.

Australia, Japan, USA, Russia, China, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Philippines, Sri Lanka etc.

Accreditation of Proficiency Testing Providers Proficiency Testing (PT) Schemes for calibration laboratories in cooperation with the National Metrological Institute (NPL) (NPL).. The number of PT Schemes needed to cover PT participation requirements of laboratories is becoming difficult difficult.. Organized two orientation programs on “Accreditation of Proficiency Testing Provider” as per the new international standard ISO/IEC 17043 “Conformity Assessment Assessment-- General Requirements of Proficiency Testing”. Accreditation of Reference Materials Producers NABL plans to initiate Accreditation of Reference Materials Producers.. Reference materials are presently imported Producers and are expensive expensive.. Since there is a apprehensions of whether there are sufficient numbers of potential RM Producers in India, the management of NABL has recently decided to first organize capacity building programs to develop Reference Materials Producers in the country. country. For this purpose, NABL is under process to identify organizations for conducting capacity building building..
