Questions and Answers about your Carnival® Promo Cruise Vacation AWARD Q - Is my Cruise Free? A - No. It will cost you $174 to $233 per person. Your cruise is for 3-5 days during the off peak season according to your Award Certificate. Pricing is dependent on the length of cruise and the Port of departure. Government taxes, Port charges and fees range from $174 to $233 per person. We do not control those prices. The Cruise line and Government agencies set those prices. Prices above are based on double occupancy. Q - Can I travel anytime at the above Rates? A – No! If you want the prices quoted on the Award Certificate ($174-$233 per person) you must travel off peak. Off peak is September, October, November or December and excludes holiday weeks as described on your certificate. Any other time is peak season and is quoted at our ‘promotional pricing’. Q - What kind of cabin do I get? A – You get an entry Level 1A cabin. Typically, 1A cabins have bunk beds. Q - Can I upgrade to other cabins? A – Of Course! You can upgrade to ANY cabin at our ‘Promotional Pricing’. Upgrade Pricing is guaranteed to be lower than the cruise line pricing at time of booking. It is not simply the difference between the taxes, port charges and fees on 1A cabins minus the price of whichever category you choose. Q - What is ‘Promotional Pricing’? A – Our rate compared to what the cruise line will offer. It is basically a discount off the pubic pricing. Q - How much will I save with Promotional Pricing? A - If you choose a ‘promotional rate cruise’ the amount you save is in direct relation to the amount you spend. If you choose an itinerary that costs you $1000 per person (not including government taxes, port charges, fees and fuel surcharges) you will save at least $150 per person. If you choose an itinerary that costs you $200 per person (not including government taxes, port charges, fees and fuel surcharges) you will save about $30 per person. Q - Can we Travel with any other cruise line? A – No. Travel is permitted only on Carnival® Cruise Lines. Q - Can I travel as a Single? A – Yes. You will pay taxes, port charges and fees based on double occupancy. In other words, if only one person is traveling you still have to pay the Government taxes, port charges and fees as if two people were in the cabin. Q - Can I bring my children and pay the difference? A - Yes. Keep in mind when you add more than 2 people in the cabin it becomes ‘promotional pricing’ for all persons in cabin.
