Readily available potassium phosphate to deliver phosphorus and potassium for optimum crop growth and productivity in most soil types.

NPK: 1-16-34

Benefits of Agri-PK™ • • • • • • •

Readily available potassium phosphate to deliver elemental phosphorus and potassium for optimum crop growth and productivity in most soil types AGRI-PK does not contain phosphite, the fungicidal form of P and being a clear liquid formulation can be safely applied without any blockages through fertigation system Ideal for fruit fill and flowering response in all horticultural crops Contains 1% ammonium N for better uptake of phosphorus and its further utilization in the plant cells at fruiting to improve shelf life It is not prone to settling upon bulk storage and spray applications Balanced potassium and phosphorous promote thicker stem growth and eliminate N-induced leggy growth in vines and other crops The trace elements in EDTA chelate forms can be safely added according to the crop requirements. Do not mix straight sulphates as insoluble phosphates can block drippers and injection points.

THE ROLE OF PHOSPHORUS Plants need phosphorus at all growth stages, particularly in early growth stages as it is necessary for cell division and growth within the plant. Although mobile within the plant, it is relatively immobile in soil.

DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS PHOSPHORUS • Purple older leaves • Purple stems • Dark yellow leaf tips • Low yield

THE ROLE OF POTASSIUM Highly mobile in the plant, potassium regulates the turgidity of cells and is therefore important in stomata control. Potassium also maintains cell division, formation of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS POTASSIUM • Scorched leaf • Yield and quality of fruit is normally affected before leaf symptoms are evident.

THE ROLE OF NITROGEN Nitrogen forms protein and increases the yield of all crops. It is the essential building block of plant structure and is vital to plant growth, however it does need to be in balance with the other plant elements. Nitrogen is often leached from the soil therefore regular small applications will ensure efficient uptake without excessive losses.

DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS NITROGEN • Small, pale older leaves • Poor shoot growth • Poor fruit set • Stunted plants • Small fruit size/reduced yield

NOTE: The suggested rates of application are designed for typical Australian conditions and such should be used as a guide only. Each farmer’s climatic conditions, water quality, soil types, application processes and practices may differ and therefore necessitate corrections to ensure optimum results. Good agricultural practice requires that application o be avoided under extreme weather conditions such as temperatures over 28 C, high humidity, frost, rain etc. It is recommended that when applying to a crop or area for the first time, or in combination with other chemicals, a small test area should be sprayed and observed prior to the total spray. Where possible, it is recommended that regular leaf (sap) tests are conducted to determine actual plant nutrient availability during each growth cycle. Soil tests at least once per year are essential.
