Xerox® Mobile Client for DocuShare Xerox Mobile Client for DocuShare enables you to access your DocuShare content from your mobile device, creating a virtual office wherever you travel. Using a mobile device, access needed documents electronically instead of relying on paper documents, whether you’re in a meeting, in the field or on site with a customer. The simple interface allows you to access documents, edit them, share them and print or email them with DocuShare Print and Email.

Print and Email As long as you have a smartphone or tablet device you can print or email documents to others. This addon allows you to print DocuShare documents in off-site locations using Xerox® Mobile Print Cloud. It allows the paperless world to bridge to paper, when paper is critical to business processes, such as when customer contracts, or other documents require physical reviews.

Web-based Browser Access While devices have a specific application to support DocuShare, we made sure that our other customers can get access to documents while mobile as well. Our DocuShare Web-based Mobile Access is fully web-enabled and supports a range of browsers. As long as you have a connection to the Internet you are able to get to your DocuShare files and documents by accessing them from the web, just like you would on your desktop.

Education
Market Opportunity: A sales executive visits a customer discovers that she didn’t bring the most current sales agreement, and she also needs a specific product brief.
Market Opportunity: Periodic faculty and academic review meetings are often paper-heavy, requiring materials be printed and circulated before a meeting (with significant print and mail costs).
With the Xerox® Mobile Client: The executive brings up the document on her smartphone or tablet device and shares it, and then she emails it to the co-workers. There’s no longer a need for her to bring a briefcase of paper with each visit.
With the Xerox® Mobile Client: Education administrators, faculty or board members can conduct meetings in a paperless fashion. Meeting agendas, academic pieces for review, and other files are uploaded to a DocuShare meeting collection, where participants access them during the meeting from tablet devices, and update them as they go.
Manufacturing Market Opportunity: On the shop floor, employees work with paper drawings that must be printed out and brought to the site (requiring volumes of printing, and paper accumulates as drawings are updated and new versions used). With the Xerox® Mobile Client: The most recent drawings are saved in electronic format or digitized (scanned) into DocuShare, giving customers the advantage of having the latest versions.
Healthcare Market Opportunity: Mobile workers such as home and hospice nurses work primarily with patients in their homes, and must often carry forms and patient documents with them (risking loss and sometimes even exposure of patient data).
With the Xerox® Mobile Client: A mobile nurse accesses a patient document, or fills out a prescription order, simply by bringing up the document or form on her mobile device from DocuShare. In the case of a form, she can fill it out and submit.
Paperless Meetings Market Opportunity: Participants in a meeting typically must bring relevant documents and files with them, especially if the meeting includes handouts, or other materials for discussion. Civic, educational, or corporate board meetings may require that members print and bring lengthy documents for review during the meeting. With the Xerox® Mobile Client: An executive or project leader uploads meeting documents to a DocuShare site before the meeting, Attendees can download them to their tablet devices to bring to the meeting, or access the documents in DocuShare in the meeting, even making edits and publishing revised versions.
