Sub: Enrolment for Badminton-Doubles (Shuttle) Tournament conducted by Mahak:avi Bharathi Institute (ICF Institute).
It is proposed to organise Inter Departmental Badminton-Doubles (Shuttle) tournament at ICF Institute. Employees who are interested to participate in the tournament may register their team at ICF Institute on or before 17.08.2017 in the enclosed format. Applications received on or after last date will not be entertained. The Inter Departmental Badminton-Doubles tournament will be held at ICF Indoor Badminton court from 21.08.2017 to 24.08.2017. Each department will have 5 teams (totally 10 participants) as per their choice.
... Team fixtures, venue, time and rules are enclosed. Decision of the Tournament Committee formed for this purpose shall be final in selection of Team for Fixtures and declaration of final result.

Rules 1. Whole matches including semi-finals will be played one set of 30 points rally point. 2. Final will be played best of 3 sets. 3. Each department should give the names of 5 teams (5 X 2 = 10 players). 4. Result will be decided based on the best of 5 matches in a department. 5. Matches will be played in Yonex mavis 350 plastic shuttles. 6. Players should wear non marking shoes (yellowbottom) compulsory. 7. Any dispute during the match only the captain can speak to the umpire. 8. Umpires decision will be final. 9. Teams should submit the name on or before 01.08.2017 with captain 17 name from each department. 10.Timing should be followed strictly.
