Mastering Innovation and Design Thinking in Practice PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR INNOVATION AND DESIGN THINKING William Edwards Deming said: “If you do not know how to ask the right question, you discover nothing.” USB-ED’s Mastering Innovation and Design Thinking Programme equips participants to define and clarify challenging systems and to apply innovation tools appropriately. It focuses on innovation that supports business strategy and implementation across all areas of an organisation. Furthermore, the programme highlights the importance of logical, emotional and contextual contributions to innovation implementation.

The programme is aimed at managers who want to strengthen their awareness and ability to lead innovation in business and enhance the innovation capability of their organisations. The programme as a learning investment
The programme is closely aligned to Harvard Business School’s philosophy on linking innovation with the purpose of a system and makes use of a blended learning model. This includes group facilitation, collaborative conversations, individual and group work, and a virtual learning platform. The following subject areas are covered:

Admission Requirements No formal tertiary qualifications are required. Participants should have English language competence at NQF level 4 or equivalent.
