PLANK BENDING a handy tool used when bending miniature planking as in model boat building and other applications requiring small planks to be bent over a frame. Manufactured from tough plastic and has a very sharp blade held in one jaw. After producing the small strips for the planking, the tool is then used to crimp small notches in the reverse side of the plank, these notches allow the plank to bend easily without breaking. Spare blades are available.

STRIP CLAMP AND KEEL HOLDER the primary use for this tool is as strip clamp when making miniature planking. It allows a thin piece of wood to be cut along the grain without the knife being influenced by the grain of the wood. It has 10½" steel covered jaws which hold the wood firmly, the knife or scalpel is guided along the steel jaws. The jaws can accommodate up to 5mm thickness and have a quick release action. The Plank Bender is manufactured from glass reinforced nylon and is supplied with 3 sets of jaws. The first set have a sharp blade held in one jaw this is used to crimp the reverse side of the planking. The other sets of jaws are used for bending copper, brass, tin and aluminium strips up to 0.6mm thickness, fine wire can also be shaped. MUTLI BENCH CLAMP an impressively useful tool that can be used for holding the a range of items while glueing, painting and contruction. The base will clamp up to 50mm thick work surface and features a multi-position swivel joint, allowing variation of angle and pitch that the object is being held. KEEL KLAMPER originally designed for holding the keel of a model boat during construction, it can also be used to hold a range of items during construction or painting etc. The Keel Klampers heavy metal base holds a ball joint which can be tilted to about 45° and swivelled through 360°, the ball joint can be locked in position. Connected to the ball joint via a small shaft is an aluminium bar which has 2 clamps mounted to it. The clamps can be moved along the bar and locked in position. PLANK BENDING MACHINE an ingenious tool used for bending miniature planking as used in model boat building or wherever small planks need to be bent over a frame. After producing the small strips that will form the planking they are simply fed through the rollers of the machine. The machine is turned by hand, the roller has heavy grooves which make small notches on the reverse side of the plank, and passing the planking through the rollers also induces a bend into the strip. The result is a plank that is easily laid without breaking. The machine can be adjusted for different thickness of material and 3 roller sizes have been built into the machine. STEEL WOOL a range of superior industrial grade oil free steel wool available in 6 grades. All grades are supplied in a 454g roll. Grade 0000 Super Fine, used for fine cabinet work, dulling of varnish and polishing of metals. Grade 000 Very Fine, used before final coat of paint or varnish to dull surface. For fine finishing of wood, high lustre polishing of chrome and brass. Grade 0 Fine, for final surface preparation, keying surfaces prior to painting, for cleaning/polishing metals, glass, tiling, ceramics.
