Effective December 1, 2012 all North Carolina Intrastate Commercial Motor Vehicles in Intrastate Commerce will be required to display a USDOT number followed by the letters “NC”. Failure to be in compliance by December 1, 2013 will result in a penalty of $100.00 per each occurrence.
