You MUST have either: A four-year or Bachelor level University degree
This is an advanced course which assumes you’ve already mastered the basics.
Plus at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours spent leading and directing projects Plus 35 hours of project management education by the time you sit for the exam (this course will provide you with 35 hours) OR A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent) Plus at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours spent leading and directing projects Plus 35 hours of project management education by the time you sit for the exam Call us if you do not meet either of the above prerequisites, as there are still options for you to obtain a project management Certification.
You will have attended a PM fundamentals course and have a working knowledge of: Developing a project charter Work breakdown structures Network diagrams Time and cost estimating The process of planning a project Developing management plans What a project manager should be doing when the work is going on Project closure and why it is important If you aren’t already familiar with all of these subjects, then complete our 2-day fundamentals course first. It will also help if you have had exposure to procurement management, earned value and risk management.
