1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 System Overview Education for Certificate of Recognition, for Marine Department Malaysia, the system is an On Line E learning module. • A software system accessible using desktop and Laptop. • Operating System: Windows XP SP2+, Mac OS X 10.8+ • Graphics card: DX9 (shader model 2.0) capabilities; generally everything made since 2004 should work. • Web Player (deprecated): Requires a browser that supports plugins, like Internet Explorer, Safari and some versions of Firefox. Will not work with Google Chrome. • Installation of Unity Web Player (https://unity3d.com/webplayer) • Disable pop up blocker. 2.0 SYSTEM SUMMARY
2.1 System Configuration ECOR are online based platform that currently only caters for desktop and laptop usage, in which will run on Windows 7 and above, and Mac OS X 1.8 and above. ECOR can only be accessed using web player: Internet Explorer, Safari and some versions of Firefox. Will not work with Google Chrome. Upon the availability of internet access, user can access the website and start to use ECOR E Learning Module, by paying the access fee first. 2.2 Data Flows Users navigate through ECOR E Learning Module by using keyboard and mouse. Which has a dedicated key for inserting commands. All the information is convey through video presentation to the user for the learning process and objective style of question for the exam process. 2.3 User Access Levels ECOR E Learning Module is only accessible to registered paid users only.
