Rosie "Loucille" Boren July 29, 1927 - January 12, 2018

Rosie “Loucille”Henderson Boren, age 90, of Richardson, Texas, passed away January 12, 2017. Loucille was born July 29, 1927, in Pottsboro, Texas, to Clyde and Nancy Jewel (Roberson) Henderson. She married Dell Boren in December of 1943, in Denison, Texas. They moved to McKinney after his time in the Marines until 1959 when they moved to Richardson. Loucille and Dell were members of First Baptist Church of Richardson, currently The Heights Baptist Church, for many years. Loucille worked in women’s retail sales for fifteen years, for Billie's and Suzanne’s in Richardson. She was a very loving, caring person with a gentle spirit. Her home was always open to anyone in need. Her passion was spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Valentine of Richardson, Texas and Regina McConal and husband, Bobby of Kerrville, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Harris and wife, Catherine of Benbrook, Texas, Marci Gray and husband, Darek of Cresson, Texas, Billy Hiner and wife, Darla of Boerne, Texas, Karen Elmore and husband, John of Franklin, Texas, Ashley Boren of Richardson, Sean McConal and wife, Katy of Waco, Texas, Scott McConal of Kerrville, and Alyson Zulfer and husband, Travis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Alex Harris and wife, Hannah, Matthew Harris, Landon Gray, Tatum Gray, Catherine Hiner, Kyndal Hiner, Luke Hiner, Matthew Elmore, Andrew Elmore, Caroline Elmore, Brayden Zelezny, and Tatum McConal; great-great-grandson, Marshall Harris; brother, Jerry Henderson and wife, Gwen of Pottsboro, Texas; and sister, Ruth Wasden and husband, Tom of Denison, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Jewel Henderson, husband, Dell Boren, daughters, Nancy Hiner and Carol Sue Morrison, great-granddaughter, Hope Elmore, and nine brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Presbyterian Hospice, 12477 Merit Dr., Dallas, Texas 75251, 972-239-5300.
