To strengthen our team in the area of Enterprise Data Management in Switzerland, with immediate effect, we are looking for dedicated and experienced professionals available to provide consulting services involving Data Governance.
Your challenge
Firefly seeks a Senior/ Consultant to provide guidance and advice on best practices approaches for SAP MDG integration. The position is offered on a full-‐time/permanent basis. His/her primary role will be to gather business requirements from key stakeholders and translate them to a comprehensive data solution involving the effective data migration efforts required to implement SAP MDG. Determine the size and scope for implementing SAP MDG, taking into account current data systems, the existing and planned SAP environments, identified client business requirements and objectives. In addition, a deep expertise in configuration of MDG system, creation of functional specifications and guiding developers in custom developments.
Your responsibilities § § § § § § § §
Conducting pre-‐feasibility/feasibility study by interacting with business team and understanding the underlying business requirements. Gathering business requirements from key stakeholders and translate them to a comprehensive data solution involving the effective data migration efforts required to implement SAP MDG. Determine the size and scope for implementing SAP MDG, taking into account current data systems, the existing and planned SAP environments, identified client business requirements and objectives. Design, implement and manage master data governance and master data management initiatives for clients in a variety of data domains, including financial, material, customer and vendor data. Responsible for configuration of MDG system, creation of functional specifications and guiding developers in custom developments. Develops test scenarios and test scripts in support of the Master Data solution. Be able to advise the client and project team on the merits and demerits of different solution approaches and recommend the best solution from technical feasibility point of view. Direct client interaction, own the solution, right from development to support.
Your qualifications § § § § § § §
Higher education degree in Economics, Information Technology or equivalent. An excellent command of English is mandatory and German knowledge would be an advantage. 3+ years’ experience working on MDM projects and 2+ SAP MDG projects having held a key leadership role Exceptional competence in a variety of data domains within SAP ERP, including financial, material, customer and vendor data. Experience in designing, implementing and managing master data governance and master data management initiatives for clients. Demonstrated ability to manage a complex workload, prioritize tasks and use good judgment in providing services based on goals with minimum supervision. Additional knowledge about Data Migration, Data profiling, Data Quality and ETL technologies is desirable.
