DEDICATED CNG ENGINE OIL

Multigrade dedicated CNG engine oil Shell Rimula R3 ND Energised Protection oil uses tailored combinations of high performance additives to ensure that the oil adapts and protects under the range of pressures and temperatures found in compressed natural gas (CNG) fuelled engines. Shell Rimula R3 ND oil is suitable for mobile applications like buses and trucks fitted with engines designed to run on 100% CNG and is approved for use in Cummins and Hyundai CNG engines.

Good piston & engine cleanliness Optimised balance of detergency and dispersancy provides good piston and engine cleanliness ensuring long and efficient engine operation



Ignition system protection Optimised formulation with reduced levels of “ash” containing additives to control deposit formation in the combustion chamber to help prolong the life of valves and spark plugs



for mobile CNG engines, particularly those preferring relatively low ash formulations.

Good wear protection Contains an optimized active anti-wear system that balances the more demanding requirements of onhighway applications (compared to stationary gas engine) with the need to minimize spark plug fouling.

Avoid contact with skin. Use impervious gloves with used oil. After skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.

Protect the environment Take used oil to an authorized collection point. Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.
