Description 22-bed shelter for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to permanent housing. Provides housing, support, and transitional services for formerly incarcerated women. Assessment test over phone; if approved, you will be able to move in after 2-3 days; GR and other benefits accepted. Monthly rate based on income. Emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth (10-17 yrs. old.) Free shelter for homeless women and children (age 10 and younger). No walk-ins. Women must be documented and have some source of income. For single persons 18-21 yrs. old. Does not accept: wards of the State, sex offenders, those with open DCFS cases. Emergency shelter for homeless and pregnant women. Phone intake, referral, ID, and SS number needed. Must be alcohol and drug free for at least 90 days. 22-bed home with treatment and sober living. Max stay is 6 months.

19 beds for women. Support services include temporary and permanent housing, drug treatment referrals, and health services. Basic services such as food, showers, and access to phone and mail service. Individuals connected with emergency shelter, medical and mental health, and substance abuse treatment. Transitional living for homeless families. On-site medical, mental health, and case management. Three meals/day at no cost. Information and referrals, residential services and case management for high risk management. Open Door Program is a free emergency shelter and transitional housing. Bring ID if possible. Separate shelter for women.
