The Power Supply is made up of 2 components, the power cord that plugs into the outlet and the transformer that connects to the terminal and the power cord.

Configuration - Core Application To access the Core application you must exit from the Integration application. Note: It should be noted that in most cases the terminal will come preconfigured from Pivotal's warehouse so the following adjustments would not be required. If you wish to make any changes then follow the below setup.

From the Main Integration screen (Retail/QSR or Pay-at-the-Table) press F2 then F3 to enter the Menu screen.

When accessing Admin you will be prompted to setup a new Admin Password. Enter your new password, recommend "111111", and press OK.

When adding/changing a password you will be asked to repeat the password again to ensure it matches your first entry. Enter "111111" (or whatever number you entered previously) and press OK.

You will then see the "Admin Password Changed" screen confirming the change was successful. Press OK to continue.

You will be prompted to enter a TID (Terminal Identification Number) that will have been provided to you, then press OK.

Select the COMM type being used such as Ethernet by pressing the F4 button. Tip: When making choices from menus the available selections will be on the bottom row associated to Function buttons. In the above example, Selecting F1 would select Dial and change the above line to show Dial. In the example, Ethernet has been selected which is why you see it shown on the line above the choices.

After selecting the Comm type the next screen shown above will allow for the selection of "Fallback to Dial. If there is no fallback select F1 as in the example. If no change is required you can press OK to skip this screen.

The terminal will then return to the "Main Screen" of the core application, press the "Red" cancel button to return to the main screen of the Integration application (Retail/QSR or Pay-at-the-Table).

Chapter: 3 Configuration - Tips

Configuration - Tips For Merchants that accept tips as part of their operation (Restaurants, Hair Salons, etc.) they can setup the Terminal to have up to 3 preset Tip percentages. If a cardholder does not wish to use one of these three presets they can also select OTH to enter a custom % or $ amount. If no presets are entered when tips are enabled the cardholder will only see the option for a custom % or $ amount. To configure Tips, follow these steps:

Chapter: 4 Configuration - Retail/QSR Integration (Push)

Configuration - Retail/QSR Integration (Push) This is type of Integration is used for Retail and Quick Service Restaurants where the Customer is present at the POS station and Payment Terminal. The total to be processed is Pushed from the Retail/QSR system, to the FlexPoint Payment terminal via IP (Internet Protocol) for completion by the Customer.

You will need to enter the Terminal's IP address into the POS software so it knows where to send messages to for integration. Press OK to return to the Main Screen.

Chapter: 5 Configuration - Pay-at-the-Table Integration (Pull)

Configuration - Pay-at-the-Table Integration (Pull) This is type of Integration is used for Restaurants where the Servers bring the payment terminal to the Customer's Table to process Payments. This is important with the implementation of Chip & Pin cards. Customers must enter a secure PIN so the card should not leave their sight. You will first need to obtain the IP address of the POS system you are using. In order to do this on a computer open Command Prompt and type “ipconfig” then press Enter.

Make note of the IP Address (192.168.1.175 in the above example), you will need to enter this IP Address into the Pay-at-the-Table application to be able to communicate with the POS.

Chapter: 7 Appendix B: Software Update Procedure

Appendix B: Software Update Procedure When receiving new software versions, follow the steps listed below to update the terminal to the new version. Requirements: l l

USB stick to load the software onto the Terminal. New software release file Tip: Please load the software update on all terminals in your possession.

First you will need to delete the existing application: 1. Power on the terminal 2. As the terminal boots up repeatedly press the 2 button until you see the Menus screen 3. Scroll down and select Delete Menu 4. Select Delete Application 5. Scroll down to the application you wish to delete and press OK a. If you are deleting the Core Application select the app titled ‘852212’ b. If you are deleting the Integration Application select the app titled ‘852213’ for Retail/QSR, or ‘852238’ for PAT 6. The terminal will display ‘Deletion will take effect at next reset - Strike a key’ 7. Press OK 8. You will return to the previous menu and the application will now have ** on either side (eg. **852238**) 9. Press the red Cancel button 3 times, the terminal will appear frozen but after several second will reboot

Next you will need to install the new application: 1. At the root of your USB Stick create a folder called ‘TELIUM’. For example ‘D:\TELIUM\’ 2. Unzip the software file and copy the entire ‘Pivotal v0xx’ folder into the new ‘D:\TELIUM\’ folder you just created 3. Plug the USB Stick in the USB port on the terminal: a. iCT 250 = connect the USB Stick to the port located on the back of the terminal under back plate

b. iWL 250 = connect the USB Stick to the ‘USB A (F) to MicroUSB (M)’ cable provided, then plug the cable into the MicroUSB port on the left side of the terminal Power on the terminal As the terminal boots up press and hold the F4 button, this will load the USB Mass Storage Select the new application you want to install The terminal will install the application and reboot If this is a Core Application update then once the terminal is at the main screen again you will need to begin the Core Application configuration process, if it is an Integration App update then once the terminal is at the main screen again you will need to begin the Integration configuration process.
