Unequaled cabin, payload and efficiency The new-generation King Air 350i continues its undisputed reign. With a host of design enhancements and upgrades, the best large turboprop is now better than ever. Its cabin size and loadcarrying capabilities are unequaled in any competitive turboprop. And its overall efficiency is simply amazing. In fact, when all the seats are filled, the King Air 350i delivers a lower seat-permile cost on a typical 300 nautical-mile trip than the leading single-engine turboprop — all with the added safety and system redundancy of two Pratt & Whitney Canada engines. luxurious and intelligent While the King Air 350i’s performance and value are enough to make it No. 1 on the list, what really seals the deal is its new interior. More cabin volume than the CJ2+. Forget every turboprop-cabin stereotype. The King Air 350i must be experienced to be truly appreciated. Everything is fresh. The new seats are incredibly comfortable, with waterfall headrests, optional aft ottomans and optional seat warmers. New, softer materials are throughout the cabin, complemented by new downwash and floor accent lighting to give the cabin an even more elegant look.
Standard entertainment cabinet The specially designed entertainment cabinet delivers audio and high-definition video entertainment, including an optional media center device with Blu-ray DVD player and a standard 15.3-inch LCD swing-out HD video monitor.
A newly designed forward refreshment center has LED drawer lighting and hot/cold beverage dispensers. The cabin also features state-of-the-art LED lighting at each seat, new worktables and electrochromic window darkeners, so the ultimate environment for working or relaxing can be created effortlessly.
midship cabinets To optimize cabin space, the compact midship pyramid cabinets give additional cabin stowage and house the optional AirCell Axxess II airborne telephone system and standard iPod dock.
The King Air 350i also offers more choices for cabin configuration than ever before. Seating is standard for as many as nine passengers. But no matter how many passengers, everyone travels in a cabin that is larger and more comfortable than the Citation CJ2+. In fact, the King Air 350i’s “square oval” cabin delivers 107 cubic feet of additional interior space compared with the CJ2+. And it’s not just more space, it’s better space. The vertical sides of the King Air’s cabin give each passenger more leg and shoulder room. Passengers sit up straight instead of at the uncomfortable angle in a CJ2+. With its unequaled ability to move more people in more comfort and at a lower cost, there has never been a better way to give the flight department the royal treatment than by moving up to a King Air 350i.
More volume. More Value. With a “square oval” cabin design, the King Air 350i offers 107 cubic feet more space, which means more headroom and shoulder space than the CJ2+.

Serene. Tranquil. Peaceful. A new standard of quiet.
Boasting the most flexible and technologically advanced cabin ever introduced in a twin turboprop, the King AIr 350i cabin is now also more quiet than ever before. At cruise, the King Air 350i’s cabin measures a very comfortable 78 dBA. That’s more quiet than many light jets. LOW PROPELLER TIP SPEED It’s where art and science come together. Along with being positioned well forward of the flight deck, the King Air 350i’s four-blade Hartzell propellers have lower tip speeds than many previous-generation turboprops. Lower tip speeds means less vibration. DYNAMIC VIBRATION ABSORBERS The 350i also features new dynamic vibration absorbers in key locations throughout the airframe.
9
These units are electronically tuned to the propeller’s frequency and effectively cancel out noise and vibration. The result is a more quiet, smoother, jetlike ride. TRIPLE-LAYER INSULATION Creating a comfortable cabin is especially important when traveling longer distances. The lower noise levels eliminate fatigue and create an environment that is ideal for working or relaxing. That’s why extra steps were taken to ensure a quiet ride. The 350i employs Hawker Beechcraft’s exclusive triple-layer, sounddampening insulation. With a cabin that is bigger, more quiet and more comfortable than the competitor’s, it’s no surprise that, year after year, the King Air 350 family is the No. 1 choice.

The new emergency standby information system (ESIS).
Fully integrated flight deck. State-of-the-art Pro Line 21 . ™
The King Air family has always delivered one of the best overall safety records in general aviation. That is due, in large part, to the flight deck. Since the first King Air was introduced, its flight deck design has been continually refined until reaching its current incarnation — the best in the business. Front and center is a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21™ integrated avionics suite. Combining the latest technology sensors, processing and displays, this system delivers unparalleled capabilities, sophistication and simplicity. Along with its three 8- by 10-inch active-matrix displays, the advanced package includes a complete Pro Line 21 digital communications/navigation/surveillance (CNS) system. If it looks like a jet’s flight deck, it should; it has the same avionics suite found in many light and midsize jets. And the King Air 350i’s “jet connection” does not end there. In the extremely unlikely event of an engine failure, the autofeather and rudder boost features immediately eliminate the drag of the windmilling propeller, so single-engine handling is virtually identical to a light jet. The pilot simply concentrates on flying the aircraft. And that simple act has put the single-pilot certified King Air family at the top of every pilot’s wish list.

More passengers. More miles. Less fuel. The segment’s greenest business aircraft. It’s simple math. The King Air 350i combines unmatched fuel efficiency with the ability to take more people to more destinations. Enjoy jetlike comfort and conveniences with the added benefits of lower operating costs. Load the seats and fly on a 300 nautical-mile trip. The King Air 350i’s cost per seat-mile is actually less than the leading turboprop single. Fly a typical 600 nautical-mile business trip and the King Air’s efficiencies are even more dramatic. The long and short of it is that no other business aircraft — turboprop or turbofan — delivers more capability, reliability, safety and value than a King Air 350i.

Typical 600 nautical-mile business trip unmatched fuel efficiency, Lowest operating costs Whether the goal is to save money or help save the planet, when moving more people or more cargo while using less fuel, no other aircraft can match the economies, efficiencies and capabilities of the King Air 350i.

Proof that more can be done for less.
The unparalleled range and efficiency are due, in large part, to the 1,050 shaft horsepower Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-60A engines. Like the King Air 350i itself, the -60A engines are the latest successors in a long line of the “most popular turboprop aircraft engines in history.” And much of that popularity stems from the simple fact that they are among the most reliable and most efficient turboprop engines in the air today. Coupled to the engines are dynamically balanced, four-blade, 105-inch Hartzell propellers. Designed specifically for the King Air 350i, these propellers provide maximum thrust while turning at lower tip speeds. The result is a more-serene, more-comfortable cabin. When it comes to taking more people shorter distances or fewer people very long distances, no other aircraft in its class delivers more people to more places at a lower cost than the King Air 350i.

Even more impressive is the amazing efficiency that a workhorse such as the King Air 350i delivers. With its seats loaded, for example, it costs only 26 cents per seat-mile to fly a 600 nautical-mile mission. That is 30 percent less per seat-mile than a comparably sized business jet. And jets will arrive mere minutes before the King Air.

With its capability to carry as many as nine passengers and their luggage, no other twin turboprop has the ability to take more people more places than the King Air 350i. With eight passengers, the King Air 350i bests its closest twin-turboprop competitor, the Piaggio Avanti II, by a full 430 nautical miles.
4 passengers and 0 lbs extra
Business aviation’s load-carrying leader The King Air 350i gives the category’s greatest combination of capability and flexibility. Load all eight cabin seats with adult passengers, fill the tanks and fly nearly 1,500 nautical miles. Fill the fuel tanks on a CJ2+ and you can almost carry four adults.
external baggage space The King Air 350i features nacelle lockers that provide an additional 16 cubic feet of baggage carrying space, so there’s plenty of room to bring the things needed to make the most of business and pleasure trips.

Short runways and large payloads. To define the King Air 350i with one word is easy: versatile. No other aircraft in its class can do what it can do. Certified in the Part 23 commuter category, the King Air 350i is built to take whatever is dished out. With its long, rugged landing gear and strong airframe, it is just as much at home on a gravel strip as it is at any major airport in the world. The King Air 350i knows no bounds. solid performer That rugged airframe and legendary Pratt & Whitney Canada engine reliability also give the King Air 350i an extremely high dispatch rate. It just keeps going and going, so more can be accomplished. The King Air 350i supplies the capability to load the seats and the fuel tanks and safely get up and go from a majority of airports, even under the most extreme conditions. Short-Runway Takeoffs You can take off from a Denver, Colo., 8,000-foot runway on a 90-degree day with full fuel and 1,789 pounds of passengers and baggage payload and still fly more than 1,500 nautical miles. Try that in another turboprop or light jet. On a standard day, the King Air 350i needs only 3,300 feet of runway for takeoff with full fuel. Off-load some fuel or passengers, and it safely operates off of runways shorter than 3,000 feet. That kind of performance opens doors to thousands of airports around the world, which the competition can’t touch. It’s just one more reason why no other aircraft in its class comes close to delivering the versatility found with the King Air 350i.

Go the distance: Climb 2,730 feet per minute at max weight. With a total of 2,100 shaft horsepower combined with the airframe-specific, four-blade Hartzell propellers and a host of aerodynamic refinements — including winglets — the King Air 350i delivers truly inspiring performance. Its powerful performance enables safe operation out of shorter runways; it also delivers impressive climb capabilities. The twin-engine climb rate is 2,730 feet per minute at maximum weight. Lighter weights net an amazing 3,250 feet per minute, allowing the King Air 350i to reach its 35,000-foot cruising altitude more quickly. With a faster climb rate, the aircraft gets up high where tailwinds are stronger and fuel flows are lower. In the extremely unlikely situation that an engine must be shut down, the King Air 350i’s single-engine ceiling at maximum weight is 21,500 feet, allowing it to easily clear any obstacles en route to an alternate airport. No wonder the King Air is considered among the safest aircraft in the sky.
