Roosevelt Island Tramway The Roosevelt Island Aerial Tramway provides service between the Roosevelt Island Tram station, located near the base of the Queensboro Bridge, and the Manhattan Tram Station, located at 59th street and 2nd Avenue. FARE INFORMATION To ride the Tram, you must use a MTA MetroCard. MetroCards are available for purchase at either Tram Station and at subway stations throughout New York City.
