Guidance for online license renewal. The pictures used below may not be identical to the screens you will see during your online license renewal. You may renew your license online and pay the license renewal fee with MasterCard or Visa credit cards or you may complete a paper renewal form and send in a check for your license renewal. For licensees who did not renew online in the 2014 renewal period, you will need to register at the Kentucky One Stop Business Portal before proceeding to the actual license renewal. In either case, you should begin the online renewal process at your board’s website (the Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists is used here.)
Select “Renewal” from the yellow banner near the top of the screen. If you have previously registered with the Kentucky Business One Stop Portal and with the Office of Occupations and Professions, you should be immediately taken to your license information screen to begin your renewal process. You will be taken to the Kentucky One Stop Business Portal for registration if you have not previously registered. Click on the blue “Click here to create a user account.” If you have previously registered through the Kentucky Business One Stop, do not create another account as that will conflict with the account used for renewing your license. If you do not have your password or user name from your previous registration, please use the “Trouble accessing your account?” link to recover your username and create a password. Neither the Office of Occupations and Professions or the boards can re-set your One Stop username or password. If all else fails, call 502782-8930 and hold through all the options until an operator answers, or e-mail at

After completing the registration at the One Stop Portal you should get a screen similar to the following, which advises you to look for an e-mail for activating your account.

You may copy and paste your highlighted user name to help prevent typos. In order to complete your account set up you will: 1) Click on the link below; and 2) Answer a set of security questions which will enable you to reset your password if you forget it or want to change it at any time in the future. When you click the link below to activate your account, you will see a standard Windows Log-in Pop-up, similar to the one shown below.

Once you activate your Kentucky Business One Stop Account, you can now navigate to your board’s website and select the “Renew” tab from the yellow border near the top of the web page.
You will be taken back to One Stop where you can now log in.
