FAM Trip to Srilanka Itinerary Day 1: Airport / Dam bulla / Sigiriya Arrival to Colombo International Airport and meet Representative at the airport arrival lobby. Transfer from Airport to Dam bulla. Dam bulla Rock temple was built by King Walagambahu during the 1st Century B.C. The major attraction of Dambulla is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex which covers an area about 2,100 m². Dam bulla is a UENESCO world heritage site. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding and the paintings are done on the ceiling. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of god and goddess. Transfer from Dam bulla to Sigiriya. – Lunch at a Restaurant. Climb the citadel of Sigiriya which was built in 5th century. Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Built by King Kassapa (477-495 AD). Optional Excursion Elephant Back Safari. Ride on an Elephant Back crossing rough rivers & beautiful jungles. Dinner and overnight stay at your choice of hotel.
Day 02: Sigiriya / Matale / Kandy Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer from Sigiriya to Matale. Visit Nalanda Gedige. Believed to be found right in the center of Sri Lanka, Nalanda Gedige is an ancient complete stone building near Matale. The richly decorated facade sections, laboriously reassembled in 1975, are predominantly in the South Indian style, and may have originated in the eighth to 11th centuries, but cannot be precisely dated. However, the god Kubera appears on the south side of the tympanum over the sanctuary, and this is a feature only to be found in Sri Lanka. Visit a Spice Garden Visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Clients will be able to see different spices and how some of these spices are grown and processed. Witness Cookery demonstrations as well. Spice Garden visit with cookery demonstrations

Day 03: Kandy / Ramboda / Nuwara Eliya Breakfast at Hotel. Explore Kandy - Gems & Jewelry!! Sri Lanka is world renowned for its precious & semiprecious Gems. Specially the Sri Lankan Blue Sapphire. It is very unique & owns a huge reputation in the world. Clients could visit a Gemological Museum, a gem cutting factory & also can witness a documentary on Gem mining & the process. Later you can shop for Gems, Jewelry & Other ornaments. Don’t forget to collect your authenticity certificate for gems. Transfer from Kandy to Ramboda Visit a Tea Factory. Sri Lanka is world famous for Ceylon Tea. Clients will be shown a tea plantation & a factory. You will be able to witness the processing of Tea and also taste a cup of nice & hot Ceylon Tea. You can buy various different Tea products from the Tea shop. Visit the Famous Ramboda Falls. – Lunch at a Restaurant. Ramboda is a breathtaking natural beauty. There are two prominent waterfalls next to each other. Clients could take pictures & enjoy the view from a view deck.
FAM Trip to Srilanka Transfer from Ramboda to Nuwara Eliya Nuwara Eliya is located at the heart of the hill country 6182 feet above from the sea level. The town is situated at 74 km away along Kandy-Nuwara Eliya road and this was rediscovered by British in 1827. It is still very much like an old English town with styled Bungalows and buildings. The cool calm climate, gorges rolling tea plantation which makes the best “Ceylon tea” and the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world. Transfer to Seetha Amman Temple. A temple for Lord Rama, Seetha Devi, Lakshmana and Hanuman built on the sides of the stream where Seetha Devi Bathed. Day 4: Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Yala Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Ella Ella is only a small village located high in the mountains. Most visitors to Ella only spend a couple of days there. The other nice thing about Ella is the climate. Hot during the day and nice and cool at night. If you fancy climbing the peaks that are dotted around Ella, then make sure you take sun protection and water! Visit the Ravana Falls -– Lunch at a Restaurant. The Ravana Falls (popularly known as Ravana Ella in Sinhala) is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in high and cascade from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. Transfer from Nuwara-Eliya to Yala

Day 5: Yala / Weligama / Galle / Bentota Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer from Yala to Weligama Still fishing is one of the most iconic scenes in Sri Lanka. It is a very unique traditional way of fishing for Sri Lankan fishing community. The fisherman spends hours sitting on a thin plank waiting for a good catch. Proceed to Galle. – Lunch at a Restaurant. Galle was a main port of Sri Lanka from 14th century. The first fort of Galle was built by Portuguese. Walk along the walls of the fort enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean and do not forget to watch the sun set which gives you an astonishing view from the walls of the Galle fort. Visit a Turtle hatchery at Kosgoda. There are five varieties of Sea Turtles found in Sri Lanka, namely Olive Ridley Turtle, Loggerhead Turtle, Green Turtle, Hawksbill Turtle and Leatherhead Turtle. Day 6: Bentota / Colombo Breakfast at Hotel Transfer from Galle to Colombo City tour of Colombo. In the afternoon, do a city tour of Colombo . Colombo is the commercial and business center of Sri Lanka located on west coast. The city blends together with old colonial type building, high-rise commercial buildings and hotels. It is filled with shopping malls. Some of the finest structures built during the colonial times still preserved in one part of the City. For example, there is a 100- year-old clock tower. And the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) which was a gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China. Transfer to Pettah Bazaar It is an ideal location for street & bargain shopping. There are thousands of venders selling all kinds of goods & one could have a localized shopping experience. It is not advisable to purchase expensive things from here. It is good for mingling with local folks. Casino Visit one of the famous Colombo Casinos.
