The Invitation

Your goal for this part of the process is simply to get a commitment from your prospect to take a look at what you have to share. You aren’t trying to enroll them or sell them the product. You are just seeing if they are open.

“Hey _______, do you have a minute, it’s important?”

Posture, enthusiasm and clarity are key. Here are a few different approaches. WHAT you say is not nearly as important as HOW you say it. Less is better than more.

“________, if I had a business that we could build together, with a simple product that hundreds of millions of people needed and could afford, and we could market it in every country in the world, would you be open to taking a serious look at it?” “Great!” (Give exposure tool and set appointment to follow up)

Professional and consistent follow up is the key to success in FG Xpress. Most people will require 2 -7 exposures to the story over time before they say “Yes” to either buy Power Strips or join your team. Unfortunately, many distributors stop after just a single exposure or two. When you understand the concept that a single person could end up bringing hundreds, thousands or even more people to your team…you will start to understand how important it is for you to become great at following up.

Follow Up Script “______ , you had a chance to go through my site, right?” “Great…what did you like best about what you saw?”

Follow Up & Enroll (8-10) “Fantastic, so let’s go ahead and get you started.” (4-7) “Great, well it sounds like you see an opportunity for yourself, you just have some questions you need to get answered so you are comfortable moving forward.” “Alright…so what questions do you have? I am going to write them down so we can make sure we get them answered.” (1-3) “Wow…really? Was your sound off when you were going through the site? Did you take a nap? “I am kidding…I appreciate you taking a look. ______ , obviously I am serious about this business and building a great team.” “Even though you aren’t interested yourself, I would appreciate your help.”

LISTEN! (Be quiet and let them answer) “That’s great!” (Relate, but keep it simple). “Are you open to learning more?”

Simplest Follow Up Script EVER: “_____ , based on what you have seen and heard so far, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being you are ready to get started, where do you put yourself now?”

“Who do you know that may be a good fit for me to speak with? Don’t worry about whether they will say yes…I just want to meet great people with great attitudes. I promise to treat them professionally.” “Who do you know that I can speak with?” “Great, thanks _________ .” “Let me ask you this…IF (name of referral) gets started, do you want me to call you back and give you an opportunity to join before them so you can make the money instead of me?”

Important We provide you with proven scripts and strategies for follow up and closing so it’s simple for you to build and duplicate your business. However, this business isn’t about memorizing the perfect line or saying the perfect words.

Follow Up & Enroll The Fortune is in the Follow Up Some people will buy/join the first time they try a Power Strip or see a presentation. Some people will never join. The MAJORITY of people will enroll after being exposed to information anywhere from 2-7 times! If you give up after just the first exposure because the person isn’t doing back flips with excitement ready to hand you their credit card, then you will miss out on good potential income. Use your tools and stay in relationship with people. After someone’s initial exposure, they will have questions. Use the other exposure tools to provide answers. Follow up is all about Intention, Mindset and Belief. Be professional. Doctors have their staff confirm appointments & restaurants take reservations. Professionals follow up and organize their businesses.

It’s about relationships! With that said, even your best friends need a nudge sometimes to move into action. Most people in the world have been programmed to respond and react…not be proactive decision-makers. So often, even the best of the best want you to lead. And that is your job…you lead people into action.

When people see the value of what they can gain (pain relief, financial freedom, more free time with family, etc)…is a greater payoff then what it will cost them in time, money and/or effort…they will join. Your role is to help build that belief with them. Talk with people. Ask questions. Listen. Use the Tools. Lead and have conviction about Your Vision…it just may inspire them to believe in their own.
