How to Use Metro’s FY17 Organization Chart Book This book provides charts showing the organization of staffing for every cost center throughout the entire Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The book is organized as follows: - First, by each of Metro’s ten Managing Departments; - Second, by function within each Managing Department; and, - Third, by cost center (one per page) within each function within each Managing Department. Each Managing Department’s section in this book opens with a summary of all functions and all positions. The numbers of positions and position titles shown in this Organization Chart Book tie directly to the Metro Board of Directors-approved FY17 Adopted Budget. Any position changes made subsequent to the FY17 Adopted Budget are not reflected here. Also, any specific positions that appear in more than one cost center in this book have their “home” budgeted cost center indicated in the position title box, in order to avoid double-counting. We invite you to refer to the Table of Contents to quickly find your desired Managing Department, department function, and cost center.
