Introduction to hermeneutics and methods of New Testament exegesis (seminar, 2009– 2013, 2014–2016). Subject: Teaching hermeneutics and methods of New Testament exegesis. Source texts are translated and interpreted against their historical and cultural background. 3. The historical Jesus (“Verkündigung, Wirken und Leben Jesu”, seminar, 2009/10, 2013– 2014, 2015–2016). Subjects: Historical hermeneutics, history of research of the historical Jesus, methods of research of the historical Jesus, history, socio-history, culture, and religion in Roman Palestine, methods of interpreting source texts within their historical context.
