Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi empiris dengan judul ” Pengaruh Kontribusi Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor Terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah di Jawa Timur ”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pajak kendaraan bermotor terhadap peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah di Propinsi Jawa Timur, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kontribusi pajak kendaraan bermotor terhadap peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah di Jawa Timur. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengambil dua hipotesis, yaitu: bahwa pajak kendaraan bermotor berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah; dan pajak kendaraan bermotor mempunyai kontribusi yang relatif tinggi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dilihat dari koefisien determinasi angka R2 sebesar 0,815 yang artinya bahwa 81,5% variabel pendapatan asli daerah akan dipengaruhi oleh variabel bebasnya, yaitu pajak kendaraan bermotor. Sedangkan sisanya 18,5% variabel pendapatan asli daerah akan dipengaruhi oleh variabelvariabel yang lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh t hitung sebesar 5,944 dan t tabel sebesar 0.05,8. Maka kontribusi pajak kendaraan bermotor berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan asli daerah di Jawa Timur. Hasil dari analisis kontribusi pajak kendaraan bermotor terhadap pendapatan asli daerah rata-rata kontribusi selama tahun 1997-2006 sebesar 38,91%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan positif antara kontribusi pajak kendaraan bermotor terhadap peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah, artinya jika pajak kendaraan bermotor semakin ditingkatkan maka pendapatan asli daerah juga akan mengalami peningkatan.
This research is an Empires study research that titled” the contribution effect of motorcycle tax toward increasing genuine area income in the East Java.” The aims of this research are; to know how the effect of motorcycle tax toward the increasing genuine area income in the East Java does, and to know how contribution of motorcycle tax toward the increasing genuine area income in the East Java does. In this research, the writer takes two hypotheses that are; the tax of motorcycle has positive effect toward the increasing genuine area income, and the tax of motorcycle has high contribution toward the increasing genuine area income. The result of the research that was done, based on from determination coefficients the number R2 is 0,815, it means that 81, 5% variable of genuine area income will be influenced by free variable, that is motorcycle vehicle, whereas the rest of it 18, 5% variable of the genuine area income will be influenced by another variables that are not included in this research.
