- improving your repair process Multi-purpose sealer Utilising hybrid technology, 3M’s new beige multi-purpose sealer enables you to create a variety of seam sealing finishes, including sprayed, extruded, and brushed seams, with the additional option of using it as a stonechip coating to match a variety of finishes found on today’s vehicles. It can be overpainted with waterbased paint systems almost immediately, so offers faster processing times and productivity gains. Polyurethane sealer range 3M’s comprehensive range of polyurethane seam sealers offer a variety of packaging and colour options for all your seam sealing needs. If you’re looking for a cost effective sealing method and are less concerned with wet on wet paintability and faster processing times, this is the range for you. These products can be painted over once the skin is fully formed. This will vary depending on the temperature you are working in but should be between 20 and 45 minutes

If you just need an extruded seam but also need wet on wet paintability, this is the product for you. 3M’s hybrid caulkable sealer offers productivity gains and a variety of colours if required (black, white and grey). It is supplied in a durable plastic cartridge with a dedicated nozzle.
