A special valve design and composition reduces the contamination risk by tightly closing the distal end of the needle each time a tube is removed - VENOJECT® valves are recognised world-wide for their excellent resealing properties. VENOJECT® needles allow increased blood-flow rates due to their larger inner diameter and significantly decrease risks of haemolysis during venepuncture - ensuring consistently reliable test results.
QUICK Safe-TE holder: safety without compromise Following the increasing safety awareness, also in blood collection, Terumo responds to the market’s safety requirements by developing an excellent accessory for phlebotomy - the QUICK Safe-TE holder for multisample needles. The QUICK Safe-TE holder is a comfortable, easy-to-use and ergonomic product designed to facilitate blood drawing and to be safely discarded.
Performance enhancing laboratory solutions Higher safety standards and increased automation in laboratory procedures require a much higher performance of blood collection vessels. The combination of VENOSAFE™ tubes, VENOSAFE™ holders and VENOJECT® needles optimises the patient’s comfort and represents the quickest, easiest and one of the safest ways of blood collection. VENOSAFE™ tubes using the well-proven Terumo PET technology guarantee the absence of effects towards clinical parameters over their whole lifetime.
VENOSAFE™ QUICK FIT holder The ergonomic, easy-to-use QUICK FIT system significantly improves the safety and comfort for the phlebotomist and patient. The QUICK FIT bayonet ensures a very quick and safe needle insertion and release and cuts down working time. It allows multiple usage, hence decreasing costs and waste disposal.
VENOSAFE™ tube: the ultimate answer to the increasing need for safe, efficient and highly reliable blood collection systems VENOSAFE™ consists of a glass-clear PET tube with a patented gas barrier and a safety closure composed of a cap and an inner stopper part. The cap functions like a safety shield during opening and reclosing. The inner stopper part perfectly seals the tube and guarantees a smooth blood collection and sampling. Draw marks improve comfort during blood collection and lab efficiency by assuring correct blood/additive ratios.
A history of research and development In order to meet the increasing demand for standardisation of the laboratory environment and persistent demand for ultimate safety solutions, Terumo developed the VENOSAFE™ tube, the third generation of its outstanding clinical test systems combining the proven PET technology of VENOJECT ® II with the excellent safety features for the benefits of the user and the patient.
