This conference is commibed to improving care for LGBTQI paSents by educaSng health and mental health providers across disciplines (nursing, medicine, mental health, educaSon, elder care) about the unique needs of these paSents. Our objecSve is to begin to build a broad community of LGBTQI and Allied providers commibed to understanding the needs of diverse paSents and to providing respecgul and competent care.
This course is designed for physicians, nurses, acupuncturists, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists, physical therapists, and other allied health care professionals interested in improving wellness and care for their LGBTQI paSents.
Psychologist: This educaSonal acSvity is recognized by the California Board of Psychology as meeSng the conSnuing educaSon requirements toward license renewal for California psychologists (self reporSng required).
