We urgently recommend changing this standard password and e-mail address when the program is used for the first time.

3.1.1. Creating a new user 1. Click the User data button. 2. Click the

button.

ª The combo box for selecting a user is inactive and all input boxes are empty. 3. Enter the first name and surname, e-mail address and password of the new user. ª The password can later be changed by the respective user or by the administrator. 4. If the new user is to have administrator rights, select the Administrator check box. 5. Click the Save button. ª The new user is entered into the database. ª The dialog box closes.

3.1.2. Changing user data 1. Click the User data button. 2. Select the user in the combo box. 3. Click the

button.

4. Change the first name and last name, e-mail address and/or password and administrator rights of the selected user. ª It is only possible to change the passwords of users, not of other administrators. If no new password is assigned, the old password remains valid. Exception: The selected user is the administrator who is currently logged in - he is able to change his own password. 5. Click the Save button. ª The modified data is saved in the database. 6. The dialog box closes.

3.1.3. Deleting user data 1. Click the User data button. 2. Select the user in the combo box. 3. Click the

button.

ª The message Do you really want to delete the user? Yes/No appears. 4. To confirm the deletion, click Yes. ª The user is deleted. Users that have already saved diagnosis data cannot be deleted.

It is urgently recommended that each user changes his password prior to first time he uses the program. 4. Click the Save button. ª The modified data is saved in the database. 5. The dialog box closes.

4.1.

Start INTelligence

4.1.1. INT69® Diagnose via INTelligence Server For INT69® Diagnose you are able to install a data transmission that cyclically sends data to a server. The stored data can be accessed via Internet INTelligence. The first time an INT69® Diagnose unit is connected to the system, this INT69® Diagnose has to be assigned to a compressor in the database. 1. Start Internet INTelligence. 2. When starting for the first time the INTelligenceID must be entered (see chapter 4.1.1.1.). 3. When connecting an INT69® Diagnose for the first time, assign it to a compressor in the database (see chapter 4.2.). 4. Select a line to choose a compressor for which the data is to be displayed.

5. Click the Archive button. If there is a red exclamation mark in front of the respective row, there is an error of the compressor.

4.1.1.1. Configuring the connection

1. Click Connection button. 2. Check server URL. 3. Enter INTelligenceID. 4. Click Test button. ª When all data have been entered correctly, the following text appears: Connectivity test SUCCESSFUL! You may save the connection. 5. Click the Save button. ª The modified data are saved.

4.1.2. INT69® Diagnose via USB Gateway (INTelligence Direct) Up to 9 compressors or INT69® Diagnose units can be connected at the same time. The first time an INT69® Diagnose unit is connected to the system, this INT69® Diagnose has to be assigned to a compressor in the database. 1. Start INTelligence Direct. 2. Log on as user or administrator. 3. Connect the INT69® Diagnose to the USB port of the computer by means of a USB cable. ª also refer to item 4 in the installation manual. Troubleshooting: Driver installation. 4. When connecting an INT69® Diagnose for the first time, assign it to a compressor in the database (see chapter 4.2.). 5. INT69® Diagnose units that have already been assigned are identified by means of their unique serial number and the associated compressor information is displayed as tooltip at the compressor icon. 6. To select the compressor for which the data is displayed, click on a compressor icon (see chapter 4.1.2.1.). Please note: After the INT69® Diagnose unit is connected to the computer and the program is started, up to a minute can pass before all data of the INT69® Diagnose unit has been transmitted to the computer. During this period, some graphics cannot be displayed and some information cannot be analyzed yet. If this is the case, the program issues a corresponding message or indicates the respective data with a dash. If live data of the selected compressor is being displayed and not diagnosis data from the archive, the current date and time are displayed in the footer of the dialog box, as well as the rotating live display icon. Furthermore, the text Live appears at the top right of the dialog box.

ª After the logon has successfully been completed, the selection of connected compressors or INT69® Diagnose units is displayed. ª Up to 9 compressors or INT69® Diagnose units connected to the computer are shown on the display. ª If a compressor has been assigned to the INT69® Diagnose, the compressor information is shown as tooltip when the mouse points at a compressor. Thus it is possible to easily check to which compressor the displayed data belongs.

ª If no compressor has been assigned to the INT69® Diagnose unit yet, Unknown appears in the tooltip (for information on defining compressor data, see chapter 4.2.4.1.). 1. Click on a compressor icon to select a compressor for which the data is to be displayed.

Light grey compressor icon An INT69® Diagnose has been connected, but not enough data of the INT69® Diagnose unit has been transferred to the computer to enable unique identification of the INT69® Diagnose unit. Max. 30 seconds after the INT69® Diagnose has been connected to the computer and INTelligence has been started, the INT69® Diagnose is identified and the icon changes. Assigning the INT69® Diagnose to a compressor The first time an INT69® Diagnose unit is connected to the system, this INT69® Diagnose has to be assigned to a compressor in the database. A compressor is defined by: • Serial number (type sign on the compressor) • MLG address (Internet INTelligence only, MAC address, see sticker on Modbus-LAN Gateway) • Modbus (Internet INTelligence only, set Adresse on DP-Modbus Gateway) • Supplementary information • Location (compressor location within the company) A company can have several locations. There can be several compressors at a location. With Internet INTelligence compressors can be combined to systems. 1. Select a compressor. 2. Click the Compressor data button. ª The compressor assignment dialog box appears.

4.2.4. Defining a compressor and changing the compressor data 4.2.4.1. Defining a new compressor After a location has been selected, those compressors that have been assigned to this location are displayed. Just after a new location has been defined, no compressors have been assigned to it yet, therefore no compressors are displayed for the company.

4.3.

Entering maintenance (not available in all versions) Maintenance procedures performed on a compressor have to be documented, as the maintenance intervals are calculated based on the maintenance data. 1. Select a compressor. 2. Click Maintenance. ª The following dialog box appears:

ª The maintenance procedures that have already been performed are displayed. 3. Click the Enter maintenance button. ª The current diagnosis data are saved to the database. ª The maintenance intervals are recalculated. ª The detection routine for deviations during operation is restarted. ª If the last detected error occurred prior to the maintenance, it is possible that manipulations are not being detected any more. Only the errors that have occurred since the last maintenance are evaluated.

Archive - Viewing diagnosis data and maintenance data saved earlier It is not necessary to have an INT69® Diagnose unit connected to the computer in order to view saved diagnosis data. 1. Click the Archive button. ª The following dialog box appears:

Alternatively select a compressor first. ª Below Select diagnosis data, a list of the times at which diagnosis data for the selected compressor has been saved is shown.

2. Select a company. 3. Select a location. 4. Select a compressor. Click the Maintenance button (not available in all versions) to view a list with all maintenance procedures incl. date and time. To display the diagnosis data saved for a maintenance procedure, note the date and time, close the dialog box by clicking Cancel and continue at point 5. 5. Select the desired diagnosis data by clicking on the respective date. 6. Select Display selection to display the selected diagnosis data. In the case of archive data, the date at which this diagnostic data has been saved is displayed. The rotating live display icon is not visible. The word "Archive" appears at the top right of the window, instead of the word "Live". 7. Click the Archive button to return to the data selection. Click

to exit the archive.

8. With the Cancel button, you can close the current window.

5.1.1. Archiving diagnosis data („INTelligence Direct“ only) The current diagnosis data can be saved in the database for documentation purposes. 1. Click the Archiving button. ª The diagnosis data is saved in the database. ª The Data saved message appears. 2. Click the 18 of 24

5.1.2. Printing diagnosis data The displayed diagnosis data can be printed. 1. Click the Print view button. ª A print preview is generated. This view can be printed by clicking the printer icon. 2. Close the print preview. ª Else the program cannot be continued.

5.2.

Diagnosis screen: Winding temperature status and maintenance

The following parameters are shown: •

Current winding temperature - Low - Raised - Critical - Standstill The winding temperature ranges are determined by the characteristics curve of the AMS sensor installed in the motor winding.

•

Error status If an error has occurred that has led to the compressor being switched off for protective purposes, the Error area has a red background. If there is no error, the background of the Error area is grey (see Fig. 26).

•

The due date for the next compressor maintenance and evaporator/condenser maintenance. - Compressor: The maintenance has to be performed half a year (4380 hours) after the previous maintenance or after the initial startup. - Evaporator/condenser: Depending on how much the compressor is used, the maintenance procedure has to be performed at the latest half a year (4380 hours) after the previous maintenance or after the initial startup. - More compressor operating time results in a shorter maintenance interval. If maintenance is overdue, the Compressor or Condenser area has a red background.

An operational deviation is a significant deviation from the previous behaviour during operation, e.g. a large increase in switch cycles per hour or a large increase in the compressor running times. It is only possible to detect operational deviations after more than 100 operation shutdowns (after the initial startup or after maintenance) have occurred. If an operational deviation has occurred, theOperational Deviation area has a red background. The number of days since a message has been issued is displayed. If no operational deviation has occurred, theOperational Deviation area has a grey background. No additional information (days) are displayed (see Fig. 26).

Manipulation - A manipulation has occurred if e.g. the PTC connections or the relay contacts have been bypassed. If a manipulation has occurred, the Manipulation area has a red background. If no manipulation has occurred, the Manipulation area has a grey background (see Fig. 26).

5.3.

Operating time and load requirements The operating time is the sum of the times for low, raised and critical temperature.

The red bar shows the compressor's highest number of switch cycles per hour for today and the previous 6 days. The yellow bar shows the number of switch cycles per 24 hours. The indications are based on the system time of INT69 Diagnose.
