Building Up The Body of CHRIST

We cannot build up the body of Christ at North Lake without your financial support! NLPC has a tremendous history of faithful, generous giving. Please help us to continue that in 2018. Our ministry plans depend upon your response. By making your financial commitment to NLPC, you are signaling to the Session (our board of elders) how ambitious we can be with our vision for this year and beyond.

After Service Prayer After each service, a member of the healing team will be available to pray with anyone desiring prayer for special needs and circumstances at the prayer banner. Prayer Chain: To request prayers for yourself or others, contact the church office email at [email protected] or call (352-753-8484).

To Join Our Church NLPC receives members at our 101 Class by profession of faith, transfer of membership or by reaffirmation of faith. The next 101 Seminar: Introduction to our Church Family will be today from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Snacks will be provided.

If you’re a church member or a frequent attendee on the NLPC mailing list, you are receiving a letter with more information about our stewardship program and a card to indicate how much you expect to give to the Lord through NLPC in 2018. Please pray about your decision and complete the commitment card. You can return it to the church office in an envelope marked for the Finance Office, or bring it to worship next Sunday, January 28th, Commitment Sunday. You will have the opportunity to carry it forward as a personal offering to place upon the communion table at the front. If you’ve not done that previously, it is a moving experience to set your commitment alongside others before the Lord. Thank you again for all the ways you are helping to “Build Up the Body of Christ!”

Today’s Sermon Notes This Is My Story—Till We Meet Again The Doll Family as told by Pastor Smith 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. “Often it is so devastating to have a loved one taken to heaven… But knowing we will be together again is why we “Praise the Lord all day long!” Love, Bill & Lyn Doll
