2.8. List of Input and Output Signals The Contractor shall provide a list of I/O signals in MS Excel or Access file format, including:
Project
Unit
For the exchange signals:
Contractor's Tag Name
Description
Signal Destination (AI, DI, AO, DO)
Generic Name of the signal
Source/destination, field device Tag name
For the hardwired signals the following information shall also be included, according to the signal type specification:
Signal type: 4-20 RTD, TC's or other
Analog signals loop/power definition
Digital signals type
For the Linked signals:
Signal source/destination network mode (PLC, computer) address
Signal address with the network mode (register, bit, etc.)
Scaling factor, for AI and AO, that has to be used when coding/decoding the analog value to/from the corresponding digital value
If more than one link is used for the connection with PCMS, each link will then get a number/name. The database will clearly indicate for each signal to which link it belongs
Separate lists (database files) with exactly the same attributes as defined above, will be provided for signals between DCS and field or DCS and systems other than DCS.
