TAS-tms, part of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services (WKTS), now integrated with Daimler FleetBoard GmbH Both companies engage in a new partnership to enable integration of their solutions, FleetBoard & TAS-tms for carriers Brussels, June 3, 2013 – TAS-tms, a leading modular Transport Management System (TMS) brand in the BeNeLux, and part of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services (WKTS), is announcing its partnership with Daimler FleetBoard GmbH, a 100% Daimler subsidiary, for the integration of its TMS in the telematics system of the leading provider. With more than 30 years of experience, TAS-tms is the leading brand in the BeNeLux countries for transport management systems (TMS) which help transporters to electronically manage their transport orders and other activities including route planning, document management and invoicing. Daimler FleetBoard GmbH is a leading provider of telematics-assisted internet services for trucks, vans and buses in Europe. The modular FleetBoard services help transport companies to manage their fleet operations with maximum efficiency and to reduce their fleet operating costs in long-haul, distribution and construction transport. Therefore, TAS-tms and FleetBoard have now engaged in a partnership to enable both solutions to be interfaced, in order to bring more value to our customers. This partnership will enable both companies to closely collaborate on both German & BeNeLux markets, but also on other countries. Indeed, all TAS-tms features are available in English, Dutch, French and now in German as well. Germany is definitely a market that TAS-tms will explore as part of WKTS’ increasing focus on Germany for its entire products and services portfolio. WKTS will be present at the transport logistic fair in Munich from June 4 to 7 to showcase its latest innovations in transport management software and services (stand 113/214 in hall A5). “We are very happy with this partnership, as the integration of the FleetBoard/TAS-tms fleet and their systems will directly benefit our clients first,” said Filip Aerts, Marketing Director of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services. “There could be additional integration opportunities with other solutions from WKTS on the horizon”.
