MIDLAND and ARLINGTON, TX – August 24, 2016 – Priority Power Management, LLC (“PPM”), a Texas-based leading independent energy management and consulting services firm, announced today that it has successfully completed the development and energization of a new electrical high voltage (“EHV”) substation for Endeavor Energy Resources LP (“Endeavor”) south of Midland, Texas. The new substation will provide the needed electrical capacity Endeavor requires to power its ever-growing production in the Midland Basin. PPM has been providing energy supply-side and risk management services to Endeavor since 2001. In early 2015, through its normal planning process of working with Endeavor to forecast future electrical loads, it was determined that Endeavor’s future electrical demand requirements exceeded the available capacity of the local electric utility. PPM developed and analyzed several scenarios to achieve Endeavor’s production goals, which included having the utility upgrade their facilities or Endeavor constructing their own EHV substation. Ultimately, Endeavor elected to pursue the latter, and to construct their own EHV substation.

In July 2015, Endeavor expanded PPM’s services to provide full turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) services to deliver the EHV substation project. PPM designed and constructed a 25 MVA 138 kV/25 kV EHV substation with an initial single substation transformer and an empty transformer bay ready to accept a second transformer at a later date to accommodate further load growth. While PPM completed the design and construction of the EHV substation in April 2016 under an aggressive 10-month schedule, it was not until this week that the utility completed their facilities to allow for the EHV substation to be energized. “We have trusted in Priority Power Management for a long time, and when it came time to make a decision of investing in the construction of a substation, we knew that they would take care of us and look after our best interests,” said Robert Booth, Vice President of Operations for Endeavor. “The fact that they were able to complete the substation well ahead of schedule and under budget is a testament to their expertise and focus on their customer.” “We are extremely pleased to have expanded our relationship with Endeavor to provide critical energy infrastructure services,” said John Bick, managing principal of PPM. “By working closely with the entire team at Endeavor, we were able to accomplish the goals and objectives that were set before us in this project”.
