Tux Paint Tux Paint is a free downloadable program that is similar to Kid Pix. Young students (and older students, too) can create fun and educational drawings.

Download and Installation CLICK HERE to download and install the Tux Paint program. CLICK HERE to download and install the Tux Paint stamps.

NOTE: The first time Tux Paint is opened, it may take several minutes to start up.

click on stamp first, then click on drawing canvas



rotate/flip & resize click on stamp first then click rotate/flip or resize then click on canvas



if rotate/flip or resize if grayed out, not lit up, then it is not an available option for the chosen stamp

select color first before typing



choose font style before typing



click resize arrows before or after typing

some draw on canvas



others apply effects to selected area or entire canvas

ERASER TOOLS

Saving, Closing, Re-Opening Click Save. Click Quit, or the red X in the upper right hand corner to close the program. When program is re-opened, the last image saved will automatically open. To return to a previously saved file, click Open. Available saved files will appear as small thumbnails.

To start a new drawing, click New. Choose a canvas color, and then click Open.
