Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer position available with Louisville-area consulting firm. RA Consultants has an opening for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer in our dynamic consulting environment. RA Consultants, LLC is a private consulting firm specializing in providing services to federal, state, and local governments as well as private companies. Responsibilities for this Position will include:
Leading project delivery teams through all phases of planning, design, and delivery including: managing scope, schedule, and budget; coordinating project teams’ daily activities; maintaining QA/QC requirements and approaches; and providing clients with regular progress updates.
Working directly with clients to determine needs and provide solutions; leading teams in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations; managing overall client expectations; and working to identify new clients and projects in the region.
Serving as a lead technical resource for water/wastewater treatment, stormwater systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump stations for both municipal and industrial clients while leveraging knowledge of treatment processes and technologies to identify best-fit solutions.
Managing and confirming fulfillment of scope of work requirements while meeting established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment.
Developing small to large design projects from inception to completion, including guiding preparation of complete bidding/construction packages for water and wastewater systems.
Supervising and supporting the work of others to develop capabilities of junior level engineering staff.
Required Skills and Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the water/wastewater engineering field.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite to create documents with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and computer-aided design applications such as AutoCAD, Microstation, etc.

Education: Candidates for this position are required to have a Bachelor´s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer’s License (P.E.) in the State of Kentucky.
