Your schedule may be hectic. So we offer you the convenience of transacting certain requests online, any time, day or night. In most cases, we will complete the processing of your request within two business days following receipt of your request. YOU’VE HAD A LOSS OR ACCIDENT … NOW WHAT? No matter how careful or responsible you and your employees are, accidents can happen. When this happens, contact us as quickly as possible at 1-800327-3636. Representatives are available 24/7. During the initial call, you will be asked to supply basic information about the claim such as when it occurred and who was involved. In most cases, we will try to contact you within 24 hours following your initial claim report and • Explain the claim process; • Discuss the coverage provided by your policy based on the claim details; • Provide information on any services we offer to help make your claims experience as hassle-free as possible.

PAYING YOUR BILL We know every business is different. That’s why we have a number of payment options available – offering you maximum flexibility. You can make payments any time, day or night: • Online by visiting www.thehartford.com/servicecenter and clicking "Pay My Bill" where you can also view account balances. • Via our automated telephone system by calling 1866-467-8730 then pressing “1” for Business Owner or Policyholder and then “2” for Payment or Billing Account Information. Or, if you prefer, you can elect to have your premium payments automatically deducted from your bank account as they’re due through our Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) option. To sign up for EFT, contact us at 1-866-467-8730 and press "1" for Business Owner or Policyholder and then "3" for Policy Changes or Service Inquiries other than Billing, and a representative will assist you. Please note that we do not currently accept credit card payments.

POLICY RENEWAL REMEMBER – the sooner you report a claim, the sooner we can help you recover from your loss.

PREMIUM AUDIT … MAKING SURE THE PREMIUM YOU PAID IS ACCURATE As a small business owner, you know how important it is to “do right” by your customers – offering them value at a fair price. When The Hartford issues a policy, the premium we charge is based on estimated information related to payroll, gross sales and nature of your business operations, for example. To make sure you only pay what’s owed, we may conduct a premium audit after the current policy term expires to ensure the accuracy of the information used to calculate your Workers’ Compensation, Business Liability and Business Owner premiums. Once the audit is complete, you will receive a Statement of Premium Audit, which will indicate if you are owed a refund or if additional premium is due. To help minimize premium adjustments, contact your Insurance Agent or us whenever there are changes to your business operations such as: • The opening of a new location; • Changes in the type of work you do or services you offer (e.g.: expanding operations to include the selling and servicing of equipment vs sales only);

Your policies with The Hartford are 12-month policies. In advance of your renewal date (the date the current policy term expires), you will receive your policy renewal. Your renewal includes any changes to your policy and the premium you will be charged for the upcoming year. While it’s always a good idea to let us know about changes to your business operations as they happen, renewal is a great time to contact your Insurance Agent or us for a business insurance checkup. This check-up only takes a few moments and helps ensure you have the right insurance coverage for your business. Also remember that your policy may be subject to a Premium Audit. You will be contacted shortly after renewal if your policy will be audited.
